Gym.

So I'm starting to get into shape, because I'm running for Miss San Joaquin County 2011.  So last night after Godspell rehearsal, I went to the gym.  I did the elliptical for 22 min.  It has a pulling/pushing feature on it so your arms and back muscles as well as your legs and let me tell you, it works.  My arms, shoulders, and scapulas are SORE! It does not help that I set it on the "expert" setting, I have no idea what I was thinking.  I also did the arm bike on ISO training ( does anyone know what ISO training is?)  for 6 min. So moral of the story, my arms got a wonderful work out yesterday.  I got to keep this gym thing up, I'm determined to be in shape for once in my life! I'm super tired now, and I'm having trouble sitting here at my desk because I'm so sore!  But I'm looking forward to Glee tonight! :)

ugh. Bad day :(

Today and yesterday were very hard days for me.

Today I had two test, one for hebrew bible and an essay midterm exam for western civilization.

So yesterday I had about 5000482720483234582 things to do, and on top of that I had to study for my exams, so I decided to take a break to relax and watch Glee.  Which was a depressing episode, let me tell you.  Kurt's Dad goes into the hospital because he had a heart attack, and was in coma for the entire episode.  About half way through the show I get a call from my mother telling me that my 105 year old great aunt was in the hospital and was probably not going to make it through the night.  That knowledge on top of the stress of studying and the plot of the Glee episode, made me start bawling uncontrollably.  So now I had to study for two big tests and I was sobbing. As soon as the episode was over, I went to the library and held it together and studied for my tests.

This morning I woke up, and I'm pretty sure I bombed my hebrew bible test.  Then I had to go to Western Civ. and take my midterm.  Which consisted of two three page essays and two one page essays.  By the time that was over I was ready to collapse, but I  still had one more class to go to.  I made it though Pacific Seminar, and got some lunch, then I went to my room and climbed into my bed.  I have been napping for the past two hours and I feel a little bit better.  But I have to leave for rehearsal in a few minutes, and after I plan to climb into my bed and have a good night's sleep.

The past two days have been really stressful and long, but I'm ready to go home and see my family for the three day weekend (which I wasn't planning on doing until my mom called and told me I had to come home).  Aunt Freda made it through the night, and is still doing ok, at least I have not heard otherwise. I am so ready for this week to end. :(

Home

So I went home this weekend! I am a Moorpark Princess, meaning I came 2nd runner up at the Miss Moorpark Pageant this past June, and the only thing I get to do is ride in the Moorpark Country Days Parade.

The Parade was so much fun! We rode in a pickup truck with the Moorpark Princes, and Allie's boyfriend Trevor, and our friend Paul jumped into the truck with us :)  It rained on our parade, and of course, me being a theater major, I started singing "Don't Rain on My Parade" with Trevor as back up vocals.  It was so much fun! after the parade was done, I worked at the Girl Scout Booth Promoting my Girl Scout Gold Award Project.  My friend Chaya Turrow was there as well promoting her project.

I love being home, and I'm going to be really sad when I have to leave again.  But the best thing is that Murphy (my dog) slept in my room with me.  He is one of the things I miss most about not living at home.

Another good thing about being home is bring back things that you forgot i.e. clothes, my plastic dinosaur, pictures.

Allie, Trevor, Gabby, Kellen and Lisa and I went to Souplantation for dinner after the parade, and then we went and saw The Social Network.  The movie was really good. :)

Today, we had a family breakfast, and my parents and I watched Dexter.  I'm going to get my eyebrows done, I saw my friend Jason, and I think we're going to go to dinner somewhere before I leave.
