Catch Up.

So I realized today that I have not updated my blog in a while. So basically, I will fill you in what I have been doing.

All last week (8/30-9/2) the social sororities had open houses on campus.  So every night at 7pm I went to the different houses, went on house tours and got to know some of the girls.  By the end of the week I had decided between two different sororities that I liked.  Alpha Phi and Delta Delta Delta.  I love both of the houses, and the girls in them as well.  This is going to be a tough decision in the spring.  I'm glad I have A LOT of time to decide.

On Friday (9/10) I got a call from the director of Godspell telling me that one of the girls had dropped out, and wanted to know if I'd be willing to take the part.  What do you think I did?
.... I took the part of course! What do you think I am? An actor that says no to a job? Thats silly. I start rehearsal tomorrow, I'm really excited.  Today my acting teacher came up to be before class and shook my hand and congratulated me.  That was very cool! :)

During Labor Day weekend, one of my best friends, Danielle Lopez picked me up and took me to her home town of Merced.  She also happened to be in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, so I was forced to go see it.  It was not THAT bad, the guy who played Joseph was really cute, so that made up for the infectious music.  Danielle brought me back to UOP,  and I did my laundry and watch the office all day long...it is fast becoming my 2nd favorite T.V. show. Then on Monday, my day off, I did homework  ALL DAY LONG!  It was ridiculous, but I do not have any work to do tonight, so I like it.

Tonight, my friend Jenna, at Alpha Phi (she's also the chapter president) invited me, and my friend Micaela to dinner at the house.  They had really good lemon bars for dessert. I had two.

Today my momma sent me a package with snacks, and an i tunes card, and play bills from the shows she saw while she was in New York.  They are now hanging on my wall next to the Wizard of Oz poster.

Thats pretty much all I have been doing these past two weeks.  I hope this week proves to be exciting.
More to come!

XOXO,
Kate
